I'll get all the warnings out of the way - this post has about a billion pictures but they're pictures of pretty things!

I've acquired lots of things (from both my own purchases and gifts from others) over the past two months in the areas of fashion, jewellery and beauty and I thought I'd do a little massive haul.

I picked up the Essence and Ulta polishes for an absolute steal, as well as the much raved about Loreal Colour Infalliable eyeshadow in Tender Caramel for only $2.10! Can you believe it? I then grabbed a candle (it's terrible, don't get it!) and FOA matte top coat from Priceline. In a different trip to Priceline I spotted the greatest bargain of all time - 2 Revlon lip butters and nail polishes for a total of $10 or $2.50 each! Essence was also calling out my name that day too...

Haul - Maybelline, Australis, Face of Australia, Essence & Lovisa

After having accidentally been on an unofficial spending ban whereby I went nearly three months without a single makeup purchase (except for, of course, my giveaway) I splashed out after a particularly stressful Saturday involving lots of maths assignments and stressed tears! Retail therapy was the only solution.

After a short trip to Priceline I returned with a couple of exciting products!

The Maybelline One by One mascara has been on my radar since it was first released quite a while ago but I never felt all that compelled to spend $19.25 on it! When I saw that they were on sale for $10 I figured there was no better time to buy it and therefore seized the opportunity! I am a bit annoyed that the only shade left was brown/black but I think I will cope!

I then ambled over to the Essence stand and discovered a completely uniterrupted Me & My Ice Cream collection! I don't think I've ever stumbled across one of the collections that hasn't been trashed with grotty finger prints pressed into all of the products. I grabbed the Cream blush in Ice bomb. Now I have had a bit more of a look at it I've discovered that it actually contains quite a lot of shimmer, but hopefully I can make it work.

I then checked out the Face of Australia stand in the hopes that the Glitterati polish in Studio 54 would be there, but alas it was not and I had to make do with 'Lookin' for some hot stuff.' All I want is Studio 54 but at this rate I will have every other polish in the whole collection! At least I managed to get this one on sale a little bit, for $3.50.

I saw that a couple of Australis products had been marked down and the Paparazzi Perfect High Definition Blush in Screen Siren was on sale for $6.47 instead of its usual $12.95. Even though I feel like these blushes have been around for years, I am really excited to finally try one out!

This is where you would think that I would recognise that perhaps two blushes were enough but no...I grabbed an Australis creme blush in Flirtatious pink because I LOVE my Australis creme blush in dusky rose and use it multiple times a week and thought that an additional shade wouldn't hurt. This too was half price and therefore cost $4.95! Bargain!

I then stopped in at Lovisa for a split second and grabbed a pair of earrings on sale for $3 down from $6.99.

Lastly I went to The Reject Shop and purchased two candles - one of them a Skittles candle in the flavour Melon Berry that smells exactly like green skittles, and an M&M 'Crisp Vanilla' candle. I love them, and for $3 each I am so happy I bought them!

So there is my little haul! I did spot some Essie polishes in Priceline which could be problematic as despite their painfully high price tag (at least in comparison to some other brands) they are still very tempting...

*And I just realised I forgot to include my Maybelline One by One macara in the photos! Argh!

Don't forget to enter my giveaway here.

OOTD - Retail Therapy

Sometimes when you are having a hard time you need a bit of retail therapy, so that is what Mum and I did a couple of weekends ago. I will post a little haul (there isn't much) but I thought I might write an OOTD as I quite liked what I wore.

I have never been much of a skirt person but I thought I may as well go crazy and wear one just because I felt like it! The one I'm wearing was from Factorie, but I have seen skirts like it absolutely everywhere.

My shirt is a boring old 3/4 length white one from Supre, often around $12 or so.

My scarf I picked up from the Op-shop for two dollars and I absolutely love it. It is a black checkered print and seems to work with every outfit. What a bargain!

For my shoes, they are from Rubi and almost always on sale. These are my third pair of the same shoe (can you tell how much I love them?) and I picked them up for $2.

I didn't wear much jewellery, just a lovely little bracelet and bow ring.

I did feel like I needed a bit of colour so I chose my brightest bag, a vibrant red weaving type thing with a brown strap. I was given this but I believe my friend purchased this from Sportsgirl.

I'm not terribly confident doing OOTD posts so please be nice!

Ring Collection Update

I have an obsession with rings. I love them. Necklaces and bracelets and earrings are nice, but it is rings that take the cake for me. Back in February 2012 I posted my ring collection but of course it has since grown to accommodate for some beautiful rings that I wear all the time, and I thought I might show them to you!

I am a bit of a bargain hunter and I tend to only pick rings up when they are under about $5. Of course, the quality of the majority of the rings I own isn't that great but it doesn't bother me because I pay so little for them.

It is a bit of a pain when the rings tarnish because some of them were so lovely to begin with. It was interesting comparing the tarnished rings to the initial post when they were all shiny and beautiful - they look so different!

These are the 21 rings that I own:

Small Silver Rings
- Bow Ring - $3 from Target
- Striped Ring - $5 from Equip
- Heart Ring - $5 from Equip
- Purple Stone Ring - Family Gift

Tarnished (used to be pretty) rings

- Star ring - Family Gift
- White stripe ring - $5 (Part of Set) from Diva
- All rings on middle finger - $5 (Part of Set) from Diva
- Chunky ribbed ring - $3 from Diva
- Chunky Round ring - $0.50 from Diva

 Fun/Crazy Rings

- Butterfly ring - Gift
- Stone ring - $2 from Diva
- Yellow ring - $0.50 from Market
- Brown ring - $3 from a charity

"Gold" rings

- Leaf Ring - $3 from Lovisa
- Heart Ring - Gift
- Chunky leaf ring - $5 from Factorie
- Stone and leaf ring - $2 from Colette

 Leftovers
- 3 Bands - $3 from Equip
- Pink Stone - $5 from Lovisa

So there are all my rings, my favourites are the ones down below but I do love them all!
