NOTD - Revlon Nail Enamel in Graceful

I received this as a freebie, part of a Priceline beauty bag that I picked up when attending this awesome event.

This is the first Revlon nail product that I have ever tried and I am really impressed. Though it isn't a shade that I would usually go for, I actually found that I quite liked it and grew to appreciate it more and more as I wore it over time.

This certainly wasn't the case for everyone, and I did get many comments regarding the 'disgusting/ugly/weird coloured polish' on my nails, but I think it is acceptable and I shall continue to wear it.

I achieved what you can see in the photos using only one coat - very impressive! It also dries really quickly which is ideal for impatient people like myself who usually end up ruining their nails because they get so bored and use their hands before the polish is dry.

I don't think I would buy Revlon polishes because they are so much more expensive than brands like Ulta3 which I feel are equally effective.

    1. Thanks Sheri! This was the first Revlon polish that I ever tried (they are just so expensive in comparison to Ulta (a brand that I love) and I am very pleased with it.

  2. Some people are so rude haha. I think it's a nice neutral colour, and it looks good for only one coat! I've only tried a couple of Revlon polishes but I prefer China Glaze & O.P.I because I can find them on special online occasionally. xx

    1. I wish China Glaze and OPI were cheaper in Australia, I have not tried either of them. Then again, I hardly ever wear nail polish so it would kind of go to waste on me!

  3. I love this colour! I've only tried 2 Revlon polishes. I love Silver Dollar because of the colour but the other (Peach Smoothie I think) was just a meh polish for me. I've never really bothered with Revlon nail polishes because I prefer to get cheaper polishes :p

    1. I am a fan of the cheaper polishes too. Ulta3 is such a stand out that I don't really bother with anything else. I don't really wear polishes much in general though because of school.

  4. I was going to say how elegant this colour was and then I read the "weird, blah, blah..." responses you said you'd received. Disagree totally! I love it - and the ring too BTW :)

    1. Thank you Vita! I am glad you like it, I think I do too though it's certainly not a colour that I would usually go for. It's a nice change!

  5. Wow I was going to purchase this shade the other day but I realised I had an Ulta3 nail polish in a very similar shade! It looks so good on your nails, I love the nude shade which is very wearable for everyday :)

  7. This colour is right up my alley! Although I agree, ulta 3 are my go to because they are so cheap and fantastic!
