|The Priceline Truck|
|Look at my curly hair!|
I was out shopping today and saw a giant pink truck parked outside, so of course I went to have a look. I paid a donation of $5 (all the money goes to charity) and I was given a bag full of freebies. I then walked in and I could choose whether I wanted to have my hair, makeup or nails done, or a massage or health check.
I chose to have my hair done and the lovely ladies spent about 45 minutes curling my long hair. If you have been reading my blog for a while you might know that curly hair is my dream, so as you can imagine this just topped off my day! Too bad it lasted about 5 hours and it was completely flat again.
I only opened my freebie bag when I got home and holy moly are there some good things in there!
Unfortunately Adelaide was the truck's last stop so you may have missed out. Thank you Priceline, I had an amazing time for only $5!

Wow I love your hair! I missed out on the truck :( I don't believe it even came to Brisbane. It looks amazing though, all those freebies! So jelly :pReplyDelete
Thanks Tashi! Hmmm, I would have thought that it went to Brisbane if it managed to get to little Adelaide! The freebies were pretty awesome.Delete
Your hair looks lovely curled, and it's so long!!! I'm a bit jealous. The truck wasn't close to where I live this time (and I think I was working) so I didn't get to check it out, but I managed to catch it last time it toured (for their birthday I think) and got a makeover - which kind of ignited my obsession with make up!ReplyDelete
Thank you lovely, it is quite long! Lucky you were able to catch it last time, it was so much fun!Delete
Omg you lucky girl!! That's really nice of them to donate to charity and give you goodies :) Priceline is really amazing :DReplyDelete
And wow, so jealous of your hair!
I am very lucky! I think it is lovely that they give the money to charity AND give out freebies, in addition to all the hair/makeup/nails/massage/health checks they do for free too!Delete
Omg I am so super jealous, you are one lucky girl! Your hair looks beautiful and just look at all those freebies you got with your show bag :) I really want to try the new Neutrogena Naturals range and (haha not exciting at all but...) the Colgate whitening toothpaste! I also spot a beautiful nude Revlon nail polish! So so jealous :(ReplyDelete
I am very lucky! I can't believe how many freebies they were giving away, it was crazy! Haha, I can't say that the toothpaste was all that exciting for me! The Revlon polish is in the shade Graceful, a grey shade, and I tried it out today and I quite like it!Delete
You got awesome goodies!ReplyDelete
And your hair omg <3 It looks great!
Thanks Sheri! I felt like a different person with all those curls. I don't think I will be doing it again soon though, it took forever and didn't last long!Delete
I loved your review on it! I've updated my post with a link to your post so my readers can see. You have great pics of the truck, which I didn't get!ReplyDelete
PS Your hair is AMAZING!!!
Oh my goodness thankyou! I've linked you too!Delete
Gosh, your hair is so gorgeous!ReplyDelete
Aw thank you!Delete
wow that's so amazing for only $5 I would have felt like I was ripping them off haha... your hair looks so beautiful! All those goodies look amazing, I have only just started using that toothpaste, hopefully I get results!ReplyDelete
I did feel like I was ripping them off a bit! I also felt guilty that my hair was taking so long but the lady doing it promised me that it was something she enjoyed! I hope the toothpaste is good too...I am so excited about all the products!Delete
OMG!!! So many products for $5!!!ReplyDelete
Your hair looks amazing! At first I thought it was a random photo, it took me a few moments to realize it was not and i had to go over again!!!
Ummm.. have you ever tried those wiry things.. not sure what they are called, .. they are like soft hick plastic pieces around which you roll up your hair and close the ends. it gives nice curls. Or may be put on plenty of good hair spray after using a curling tong? Your hair is simply gorgeous!! I wish mine were like yours.
Candice, you HAVE TO come up with your hair routine and products please.
There are so many products! No, it's not a random photo, it is my hair! I have tried those wiry things for curls but I didn't have much luck. The lady who did my curls in the truck put loads of hairspray on and it lasted about 5 hours which is actually a bit of a record for me!Delete
I will do my hair routine, including products, but I promise you it is unbelievably boring!
Wow that goodie bag looks insane! I hope I'm lucky enough to spot the Priceline truck.ReplyDelete
Oh and your hair looks beautiful when curled :)
It is an amazing goodie bag! Thanks Dawn.Delete
This is so awesome! I hope the truck comes somewhere near me soon!ReplyDelete
I hope it does too! Fingers crossed :)Delete
